iBooks 2: Apple updates its e-reader software





Apple unveiled in New York City version 2.0 of its e-book app iBooks second During the development we have focused mainly on the presentation of interactive elements such as charts, photographs and videos. This will be done about electronic textbooks for the iPad, which can be controlled by Multi-Touch gestures.


In the new version of iBooks, users can tap to open with subtitles embedded images, 3D objects, rotate, flip through photo galleries and to view videos in full screen mode. The view changes, depending on the iPad automatically from portrait to landscape mode.

iBooks 2 itself can also be downloaded free from iTunes. It supports iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad with IOS 4.2 or higher. The download is 36.9 MB.
