Cheapest Android Smartphones for Rs 2500 in India |Lets see what the features are coming

The chairman and group CEO of Bharti Enterprises, Sunil Mittal, surprised everyone when he declared that he wants smartphone prices to drop to Rs 2,500. He spoke at the World Mobile Congress this week that has led to the speculation that he may have laid out a blueprint of the future.
According to his statement, the smartphones prices may drop to Rs 2,500 which is nearly half the current price of the cheapest Android-powered phones. He stated that if any product defies pricing logic, it is mobiles.
He argued that whether the smartphone makers can pack in an efficient operating system, apps and email at a much lower cost and still turn it in a profit.
The chief marketing officer at Lava, Sunil Rana, believes that getting the chipset cost down will directly lead to the fall in the prices of smartphones. He stated that the firms can seek help from the processor manufacturers like Qualcomm and MediaTek.
If this is to happen, the smartphones industry can witness a major boost globally

Leaked Sony Xperia U Screenshots — A mid-range phone

We all are familiar with the beautiful Xperia S which was launched by Sony recently as their new flagship device, and I have to admit that it's one of the most beautiful devices of 2012. An Italian blog known as Android HD blog discovered some leaked images of Xperia U, which is actually a smaller version of the Xperia S. As you can see the image above, the phone is small in design, probably featuring 3.2 inches display, and it's running Gingerbread like the elder brother. But as you can see that the Xperia U is using Sony Ericsson branding, and we all know that it isn't "Sony Ericsson" anymore, it's only Sony now. Well, this might be the tester version and I am sure the final version will be with Sony's branding. Right now, no words on the specs of the phone but you can expect a dual-core processor, I prefer waiting for official words from Sony or maybe we will see this little guy at MWC

Leaked Samsung Galaxy B with edge-to-edge screen rumored

Rumours are circulating that Samsung's planning a smart phone with a edge-to-edge screen, dubbed the Samsung Galaxy B.
Sammyhub spotted a report from the Korean language Maeil Business newspaper that hints that the company has been beavering away on a nearly bezel-free device.
Peering through the dense fog of Google Translate, it would appear that Samsung has been working on the phone for a while already, and that it'll feature a screen that leaves only the top of the phone's front display-free.
The screen looks to be of the AMOLED variety favoured by Samsung, and more details could emerge in the second or third quarter of the year. If you're not particularly fond of fractions, that means between April and September.
Take all that with a mugful of salt though -- it's impossible to know how credible that report is. But a Galaxy phone with a classy bezel-free display is certainly a tempting proposition.
While it's little indication of the company's plans, Samsung has shown form before when it comes to bezel-shrinking -- last year's D7000 telly had the whole office weeping with how gorgeously slim the sliver surrounding the screen was.
Edge-to-edge screen tech was one of the features rumoured to be appearing on the iPhone 5, though of course the iPhone 5 never materialised and we were left with the iPhone 4S. A decent phone in its own right, but not a huge step up from the previous model.
With the next iPhone supposedly not making an appearance until the autumn, it's possible that Samsung could beat Apple to the punch with its own edge-to-edge tech -- if the Galaxy B proves to be real, of course.
The Galaxy B could even be the much-anticipated Samsung Galaxy S3, which we know will be unveiled in the first half of this year. Last month a mystery phone (pictured above) popped up in a Samsung promotional video sporting a very thin bezel, but is it a new device or just some Photoshop work on the part of a video editing bod?

Samsung Galaxy Tab 680 GT-P6800 Price in India features specification and reviews | 7.7 inch Android Tablet

Samsung Galaxy Tab 680 reviews
Samsung has quietly introduced its Galaxy tab 7.7 GT-P6800 in India as Galaxy Tab 680 for Rs 34,900. India based online retailer Flipkart has listed the Galaxy Tab 680 (WiFi+3G) for Rs 33,571. It is the fourth tablet of Samsung to be launched in India with Google's Android 3.2 Honeycomb operating system.

It has already produced 10.1in, 8.9in and 7in sized tablets, along with the 5.3in, part smartphone, part tablet Galaxy Note. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 adds a fifth screen size to the mix, attempting to strike a balance between portability and functionality.

Although 7.7-inch may initially seem like an odd screen size, the ultra slim and light form factor of the Galaxy Tab 7.7 makes it feel logical. The tablet is just 7.9mm thick and weighs only 335g, making it one of the thinnest and lightest devices in its class. As a comparison to other smaller tablets on the market, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 is both thinner and lighter than the BlackBerry PlayBook, the Acer Iconia A200, and the Toshiba Tablet AT1S0.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is instantly recognisable thanks to an attractive brushed metal finish on the back and a thin, silver bezel around the edges. Every aspect of the Galaxy Tab 7.7's design screams quality — from the well positioned power and volume keys that provide great tactility, to the gloss silver edging surrounding the headphone jack.

A 5100mAh battery powers the Galaxy Tab 7.7 and it was good for about nine hours of use during our testing. If you don't pick up the Galaxy Tab every five minutes, the battery should last a few days: it didn't really show significant drain unless the screen was constantly on.

Connectivity features include 3G HSPA+ 21Mbps, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n with WiFi Direct, Bluetooth v3.0, USB 2.0 Host and A-GPS.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 680 Features and Specification:
  • Dimensions:

Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 leaked| full features,reviews,price

Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 leaked, says it'll arrive later this month
Who there, another phone leak? It could only be the run-up to Mobile World Congress. This time, it's Samsung that's let slip, and the not-particularly high-end Galaxy Mini 2. Mini in size, minor in specifications, it will purportedly arrive with a 3.3-inch display at 480 x 320 resolution, running Gingerbread on an 800MHz processor. Unfortunately, at that speed, don't expect to get any Adobe Flash action on this presumably entry-level phone. It'll be capable of HSDPA data speeds up to 7.2Mbps; add in a three-megapixel camera, 3GB of built-in storage and it's all starting to sound a bit 2008. GSM Arena's mole pegs it for a February release, so that could mean it sprints out ahead of MWC, but it'll find it hard to avoid the bright lights of Barcelona.

A Windows 8 tablet offers hope as potent iPad foe

With Windows 8 now on a clearer path to release, expect the big device makers to try to crash the raucous Apple party with Microsoft leading the way.
Whither Android? So far, the only Android tablet supplier to come close to busting up the nonstop iPad festivities is Amazon.
That's high irony. Amazon is hardly a hardware company. And certainly a far cry from the likes of Motorola, Dell, Sony, Toshiba, Samsung, and Asus. All of which have failed to come up with a blockbuster Android alternative to the iPad. (Samsung and Asus have had limited success, but nothing that rivals the iPad in numbers.)
Here's what Deutsche Bank's Chris Whitmore said this week in a research note below a heading entitled "No iPad-killer in this bunch."
Analyst unsure about Android: "In the past 12 months, the tablet market has been flooded with a slew of Android-based devices; none of which have matched the success of the iPad. From a hardware perspective, it is clear most offerings are 'me-too' with little to no differentiation."
Whitmore continues. "We continue to believe these Android-based 'iPad-killers' will fall short. Many [device makers] seem to agree and are shifting their efforts on Win8 based tablets, which should ship in 2H12 (second half 2012)."
And this week that shift gained some velocity when Microsoft provided more clarity about Windows 8 on ARM in fairly exacting detail.
Waiting for a Windows 8 tablet: Personally, I'm anxious to get my hands on a Win 8 tablet from, say, Hewlett-Packard, Dell, Sony, or Samsung. Why? My experience (going on two months now) with the Motorola-Verizon XyBoard 10.1 (aka, Xoom 2) running Android 3.2 has been less than satisfying (though I do love Motorola's thin, lightweight design). In short, Android on my XyBoard doesn't have the reliability of iOS on my iPad 2.

World’s thinnest 10.1in-screen tablet Toshiba AT200 | full reviews,features,price

Toshiba has started taking preorders in the UK for its AT200 Android 3.2 tablet. Billed as the world’s thinnest 10.1in-screen tablet, the AT200 – also known as the Excite – is a mere 7.7mm thick.
The tablet comes in a choice of 16GB or 3GB versions and has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth but no 3G option. It is being sold initially through Carphone Warehouse, priced at £399 for the 16GB model and £449 for the 32GB tablet. This is line with the prices of many Android tablets, but more expensive than the Apple iPad 2, the runaway market leader.
Powered by a 1.2GHz TI Omap 4430 processor twinned with 1GB of DDR2 RAM, the Toshiba Excite runs Google Android Honeycomb 3.2.  A pair of 1.5 Watt speakers, a 5Mp main camera a 2Mp webcam are embedded in the 535g tablet’s 256x176x7.7mm chassis. The 16:10 ratio 10.1in touchscreen display supports a resolution of 1280x800 pixels. Toshiba preinstalls the tablet with Adobe Flash 10.3.
A battery life of eight hours even when playing video or music is promised.
Carphone Warehouse preorders are now being taken, with the official onsale date of 15 February - a late Valentine's present, perhaps?
Toshiba previously launched an Android tablet known as the Folio.

Latest Nokia 803 full feature 4-inch display, extra-large camera sensor| reviews, price in india

The Nokia N803, expected to be the company’s last Symbian device and the successor to the N8, is supposed to be revealed at MWC. The latest rumours however, have dubbed the device the Nokia 803, and given it higher-end specifications than previously expected.
The Nokia 803 will reportedly feature a 4-inch AMOLED display, and not the 3.5-inch display that was rumoured earlier. It will also come with what is being called the “largest camera sensor ever seen on a mobile phone.”
Expected to run on Nokia Belle, the Nokia 803 will also feature an HDMI-out port, microSIM card support and NFC connectivity, according to the latest rumours. Previous leaks claimed a 1GHz processor, 512MB of RAM, and DLNA connectivity as well.
The Nokia 803 will probably be shown off at the end of the month at MWC, and should hit shelves by May.

Nokia Lumia 910 and Samsung Galaxy S III |latest news- full specification reviews

The network has a fresh rumor about the two upcoming interesting smartphones - Nokia Lumia 910 and Samsung Galaxy S III. This time the source was well-known analyst Murtazin, dropped a few comments about these new products in his Twitter.
Maybe Samsung Galaxy S III

In one of the notes referred to a certain device with HD-resolution 12-megapixel camera and Android 4, which will be presented in Barcelona (Mobile World Congress is being held there). Still marked by quad-core processor clocked at 1.5-1.6 GHz. As one of the following tweet was associated with the Samsung Galaxy S III, then the logical conclusion was made that we are talking about this model, the benefit description in general coincides with the previous rumors.

Then referred to the intention of Nokia to release in May on the European market a new model of Nokia Lumia 910 with 12-megapixel camera, from which it is unclear what will happen with the smartphone Nokia Lumia 900, which can be seen in Europe in June. And for a snack raises an important question of who will need a Nokia Lumia 910 in May, when Samsung Galaxy S III comes out in April.

Briefly summarized, these sudden revelation, is the following:
·  Nokia is preparing a new flagship based on Windows Phone entitled Lumia 910. It is equipped with 12-megapixel camera and will appear in Europe in May
·  Samsung announces the Galaxy S III at the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. He will get a quad-processor at 1.6 GHz, HD-screen, 12 megapixel camera on Android 4.

When nokia lumia 900 is going to sale in market -sale on March 18 2012

Recall smartphone Nokia Lumia 900 was announced at the Consumer Electronics Show in early January, it is designed for the U.S. operator AT & T cellular network and supports the fourth-generation LTE. The source said the price will be $ 99.99 with a two-year contract.
Recall smartphone Nokia Lumia 900 built on a processor with 1.4 GHz and running the operating system Windows Phone 7.5 Mango. Nokia has sold over one million Lumia phones

The good figures on sales of his last phone are not enough to stop the decline of the results of the OEM. Its losses amounted to 1.2 billion euros in 2011.

The Finn will he his salvation to Microsoft? Nokia said at the presentation of its results for the fourth quarter of 2011 it sold in two months, "more than a million Lumia ", its first Windows phone with sales could still grow with the upcoming launch of the Model 900 in the U.S. States.

But this positive trend does little to counteract the disenchantment of consumers for the brand. Nokia has been slow to react to the iPhone. And this strategic error cost him dearly. The last quarter of 2011, he has passed that 19.6 million smartphones in 2010 against 28.6 million over the same period.

The iPhone more profitable than Nokia

Over one year, sales of mobile collapse of 25% from $ 103.6 million in 2010 to 77.3 million in 2011. In comparison, in 2010, Apple has passed 72.3 million iPhones. However, the mobile business of the manufacturer at the apple is much more juicy. The turnover on the sales of iPhone is mounted on the year to 47 billion. At the same time, Nokia recorded 11.9 billion euros (14.84 billion dollars) in sales on the sales of smartphones.
Indeed, to halt the decline, Nokia had to cut prices of its models at the same time trimming its margins. It is no longer in 2011 only 3.7% on sales of its mobile against 12.2% a year earlier.
Over the year, Nokia recorded a turnover of 38.6 billion euros for a net loss of EURO 1.2 billion (before tax). In 2010, the results of the former number one mobile phone were positive. It posted 1.78 billion profit for a turnover of 42.4 billion.
